  Anyone used Blue Circle Mortar Mix or ready mixed mortar?

  201227 · Out of a few ready mixes I found I got the best result with the Hanson's one (red and black bag from wickes ). The blue circle one always seemed to knock up a bit sloppy but maybe that was my complete inexperience. Fully echo what the pro's are saying making your own is much nicer to work with (and several x cheaper by my reckoning).
